        Client-Side Encryption

        Each Space can be protected with its own password. Encryption is done entirely in your browser using AES-GCM 256-bit.

        The encryption key never leaves your machine, and the server only stores encrypted text (prefixed with ENC:). Nobody—not even the hosting provider—can read your notes without your password.

        Export & Backup Tips

        Sovereignty means complete data ownership. You can export your data in two premium formats:

        • JSON Space Backup: A complete snapshot of notes, categories, and tags, perfect for migrating or full restore.
        • Markdown Zip: Individual .md files inside a ZIP archive, keeping your notes in standard open formats.
